Cote d'Ivoire crushes South Korea in international football friendly

ABIDJAN, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Cote d'Ivoire defeated South Korea 4-0 at Stadium MK in England in an international friendly on Saturday.

Evann Guessand opened the scoring in the 35th minute, poking home from the center of the box. Simon Adingra doubled the lead in first half stoppage time, giving his side a 2-0 halftime lead.

After the restart, Cote d'Ivoire continued to dominate, with Martial Godo scoring in the 62nd minute and Wilfried Singo side-footing a fourth in stoppage time.

Cote d'Ivoire will face Scotland on Tuesday.
