BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, June 11 (PIA) - All has been set for the multi-sectoral celebration of the 121st Philippine Independence Day in the province.
Various organizations, in collaboration with their respective local government units, have prepared activities set for tomorrow's nationwide event.
In Bambang town alone, officials and members of the Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines (F & AMP), in partnership with the local government unit, will led the commemoration program at the Rizal Park and Monument within the LGU compound.
Dan August Oro, Worshipful Master of F & AMP - Salinas Lodge, said the scheduled activities will be highlighted by the sounding of the Masonic Bell, Philippine National Anthem and Raising of the Philippine Flag, Panunumpa sa Katapatan ng Watawat ng Pilipinas, Pagpupugay sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Wreath Laying and Floral Offering, Gun Salute and messages from the leaders of masonic lodges and LGU officials.
"The veterans will also offer reminiscing statements and messages of Philippine Hisotry, particularly the declaration of Philippine independence," he said.
Meanwhile, Independence Day celebration in Bambang town will be participated by members of the Order of the Amaranth, Cagayan Valley Bodies-Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites of the Philippines, Order of the Demolay, Job's Daughter, LGU officials headed by Mayor-Elect Pepito Balgos, officials of the 84th Infantry Batallion, 7ID Philippine Army, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Prevention (BFP) and the officers and members of the Veterans Federation of the Philippines- Nueva Vizcaya Chapter, among others.
